About Our Advanced Trainings

Advanced trainings are available for clinicians who have already completed a 150+ hour certificate program in psychedelic-assisted therapy. Our courses are designed to support the continued education of psychedelic care providers. Memoru Center for Visionary Healing Arts is an Approved Training Program under Colorado’s Natural Medicine Program. Some of our advanced training programs also satisfy the requirement for a practicum for those with a Colorado training license, seeking hours for licensure. Those who are not licensed in Colorado may still complete a psilocybin practicum for professional development. Many of our advanced trainings also satisfy requirements for Continuing Education (CE) for many professions, including required CE hours for Natural Medicine license-holders.

Expanded and Non-Ordinary States for Psychedelic Therapists

With Marcela Ot'alora G. & Sara Lewis

Designed for practitioners with intermediate to advanced training in psychedelic-assisted therapy, this program deepens ethical and therapeutic approaches to working with non-ordinary and expanded states of consciousness. Participants are invited into the experiential spaces of movement, play, and healing, drawing on Buddhist psychology, ancestral perspectives, inner-directed wisdom, parts work, and expressive arts. This training includes a legal psilocybin practicum held in Boulder, Colorado, giving clinicians an opportunity to learn from their own experience and advance their facilitation skills in the context of a supportive community.

Open to non-Colorado licensed facilitators seeking professional development.

Includes a 40-hour, Colorado-approved psilocybin practicum at our Healing Center in Boulder.

Eligible for 40 hours of continuing education credits (additional fees apply).

Completion of a certificate in psychedelic-assisted facilitation is a required prerequisite.

Participant Use Of Psychedelic Substances

Memoru Center for Visionary Healing Arts programs do not require the use of psychedelic substances by program participants in order to successfully complete training. In alignment with our mission, participants will be educated in the competencies required for psychedelic treatment and research where legal. Participation in practicums and experiential opportunities involving psilocybin or other medicines shall be entirely voluntary, and all reference to such options will be to clinics or facilitators located in jurisdictions where training in the therapeutic use of these substances is legal.
